Restoring perfect white eyes
If you have been troubled by the appearance of chronically blood shot eyes the Eye Bright procedure might just be right for you.
Chronically red eyes can now be treated by Dr. Fox with the Eye Bright proce-dure—also known as conjunctivoplasty. This is a surgical process that consists of the removal of the engorged blood shot area of conjunctiva from your eyes. The conjunctiva is the clear membrane on the surface of the eye which can develop the swollen capillary vessels responsible for the red eye appearance.
The painless Bright Eye procedure is performed under topical (eye drop anesthe-sia with light sedation). There are no needles or sutures required.
Post operatively, there can occasionally be some redness, bruising and swelling associated with irritation. This will pass in several days. Eye drop medication is prescribed to assist the surface of your eye in the healing process which usually takes several weeks during which a new clear conjunctiva heals in restoring per-fect white eyes.
